WHERE YOUR MUSIC COULD GO
Tracks from producers who've worked with Max have been signed, released, and dropped on stages around the world. Your music could be next.
Featured alumni include Hector de Gomez (Cappuccino), whose music played Red Rocks, and Dennis, whose tracks have been dropped by Cloonee. More to be named.
PICTURE THIS
Not a producer hoping to be one. An artist with a finished EP, a release plan that's actually moving, and a clear answer when someone asks "what's next?"
A finished, released 4-track EP on the platforms that matter. Real release, not a private SoundCloud link.
A release strategy that gets you on playlists, in DJ sets, and in front of the audience that's been missing your music.
A career roadmap with concrete steps for gigs, labels, and the business side. No more guessing what to do on Monday.
“Thanks to John von and Max, I now know how to turn my musical ideas into reality. I definitely recommend this program.”
“A very affordable online school with mentors who've been in the industry for years and know their craft. Strongly recommend.”
“I have been genuinely impressed with the quality of the courses. Highly recommend for anyone who is serious about improving their music production skills.”
WHY THIS WORKS
He's seen the patterns that get producers stuck and the ones that get them out. The Method is what happens when you compress that into 12 weeks pointed at your career.
IS THIS YOU?
You have finished tracks but you don't know how to actually release them or get them heard by the right people.
You can produce, but you want someone in your corner who has actually been signed, toured, and broken in.
You're serious enough to commit 8 to 10 hours per week for 12 weeks and ready to invest in your career.
You're ready to stop teaching yourself in circles and shorten the path by years.
Not sure if you're ready? Apply anyway. The application itself helps you and Max figure that out together.
THE OUTCOME
Worked through directly with Protohype. We guarantee it: complete the program and finish your EP, or we work with you until you do. The kind of work that opens doors instead of sitting in your project folder.
You'll walk out knowing who you are as an artist, with branding and positioning built around you, not what the algorithm thinks you should be.
You'll know your next 10 moves: gigs, label conversations, distribution, PRO setup, and the parts of the business nobody else explains.
You'll join a network of serious producers who will be in this scene with you for years. Collaborators, sounding boards, and friends in the trenches.
The full curriculum, schedule, and weekly breakdown are walked through on your application call with Max.
OUR PROMISE TO YOU
Complete the 12-week program and you will walk out with a finished, released 4-track EP. If you do the work and don't, Max keeps mentoring you until you do. No clock, no upsell, no exception.
Artist Accelerator is selective by design. Spots are limited and every class is chosen carefully.
Step one is a short questionnaire. If your answers fit, you'll book a private call directly with Max to talk through where you are and where you want to go.

WHAT YOU GET
Private 1-on-1 sessions with Protohype on your own tracks. He'll know your patterns, your blind spots, and what's actually holding you back.
Kadence, our AI music coach, is on call 24/7 between sessions. Stuck at 2am? You've got an answer. Nobody else offers this.
Your class doesn't end at week 12. Lifetime access to the alumni Discord. The producers next to you become your collaborators, your network, your scene.
Production is half the job. You'll work through branding, release strategy, gigging, distribution, and the business side most producers never figure out alone.
Rotating group sessions with guest artists, producers, and industry pros across the 12 weeks. You'll get more perspectives in 3 months than most producers hear in 3 years.
Spots are limited and every applicant is reviewed personally by Max. That means the 9 producers next to you are at your level and as serious as you are.
You fill out a short questionnaire that takes about 5 minutes. If your answers are a fit, you'll be invited to book a private call directly with Max. The call is where you and Max decide together if the class is right for you. No high-pressure pitch.
Pricing is discussed on the application call. The Method is a serious investment in your career, with introductory pricing that won't return for future classes. Payment plans are available.
Max's artist project Protohype is rooted in bass music, but his teaching covers the full electronic spectrum. He has mentored producers across dubstep, house, tech house, drum and bass, and broader dance music. The Method is genre-aware, not genre-locked.
Plan on 8 to 10 hours per week for 12 weeks. That includes session time, your own production work, and engagement with the class. If you can't commit that, this isn't the right time for you.
The full breakdown is walked through on your application call. At a high level: four 1-on-1 sessions with Max on your own tracks, three group workshops on the Method, rotating group sessions with guest mentors and industry pros across the 12 weeks, 24/7 access to Kadence (our AI music coach), a private class Discord, lifetime alumni Discord access, and full Futureproof Music School Nexus membership for the duration of the class plus three months after. All backed by the 4-track EP completion guarantee.
If you complete the 12-week program, show up to your sessions, and do the work, you will finish your 4-track EP. If you've held up your end and the EP isn't done at week 12, Max keeps working with you until it is. The guarantee assumes you've put in the time, attended sessions, and engaged with feedback. Walked through in detail on your application call.
Apply anyway. If the timing isn't right, Max will tell you that on the call and recommend the right next step, which might be the regular Futureproof Music School membership at $99/month, or simply waiting a class or two. No one gets pushed into something that won't work for them.
The First Class kicks off June 16, 2026. Applications close May 29. Spots are limited to 10 producers. After that, applications roll into the next class waitlist.
No. Artist Accelerator is independent of Icon Collective. Max was a lead instructor there for several years, and many of the producers featured on this page studied with him during that time. The Method is what he's built since.
